Joan Sulecki setting up a lace exhibit.The Amherst Museum Lace Guild was formed to foster interest in the history, construction, identification, preservation, exhibition and advancement of the art of lace making.

Our meetings are held at 7 PM on the third Thursday of alternate months, starting in January. Special events and exhibitions offered along with an Annual Seminar in the spring/early summer. Classes are available for both beginning and advanced lacemakers. Annual lace ornament classes are held during the holiday season and guild members demonstrate at museum events throughout the year. Membership is open to anyone whose interests are consistent with the purpose of this organization. Dues are $25. This includes membership in both the Guild and Amherst Museum.
