April 9th marks the 150th anniversary of the surrender of General Robert E. Lee to General Ulysses S. Grant at Appomattox Court House, ending the American Civil War. Join us as we remember the occasion with a lecture by Tom Schobert as he portrays General Robert E. Lee in his presentation Four Days After Appomattox. The New York State Designer Blacksmiths will be in the village demonstrating and teaching visitors how to make nails.
